"Transforming lives for Christ through excellence in education, relationships and service"
As an outgrowth of the original preschool, opened in 1974, the MCS Elementary School is one of the larger Christian elementary schools in the valley. The elementary and middle schools are accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Believing that students should not pay an academic penalty to receive a Christian education, MCS offers a well-rounded, standards-based academic program.
Middle School began in 1985, as a bridge between the self-contained elementary classroom and the departmentalized campus of a high school. The Middle School provides a more personal environment where students can develop the academic and social skills necessary to do well in high school. Many of our graduates report that they excelled in high school because of the foundation that was laid at MCS.
The curriculum provides Bible, language arts, math, science, social studies, physical education and technology. In addition, our students are exposed to a variety of enrichment activities such as, music, foreign language, and art. MCS offers a standard and an advanced track math program. Standard track students complete Algebra 1 in eighth grade. Advanced students complete Geometry. Upon graduating from MCS, students should demonstrate high academic achievement, a sense of integrity and citizenship, Christian character qualities and effective communication skills.
